Riverbound Celebration: 1st Annual Fundraising Event

We are excited to announce our 1st Annual Fundraising Event in collaboration with the 10th Anniversary Celebration of California Watersport Collective and our dedication to supporting diversity and inclusion out on the water.

The Celebration hosts a day of whitewater kayaking clinics taught by Professional Kayakers on the South Fork American River in Lotus, California. After an amazing day on the water, join us for an evening of live music at Trouble Makers Beer Garden. There is a silent auction and raffle with a host of great items. All proceeds from the event go directly to support Riverbound.

Flow & Flip: Level Up Your Surfing and Master the Stern Squirt with Dave Fusilli

Level up your surfing and master the stern squirt out on everybody's favorite backyard run -- Chile Bar on the South Fork American. Time to get vertical, inverted and just play your way down the river. This clinic focuses on catching and surfing waves in control, as well as downriver play like stern squirts, kickflips and rock splats. This clinic is suitable for kayakers paddling Class III or higher with a reliable combat roll.

Boof & Beyond: Tackling Challenges with Precision with Max Blackburn

Learn how to tackle challenges with precision. With his backyard run the Little White Salmon, Max is a master on the boof and precision technique. A large portion of this clinic will be on the rapid, Trouble Maker. You'll have the opportunity to practice your timing and strokes working your way down the Chile Bar section. This clinic is suitable for kayakers paddling Class III or higher with a reliable combat roll.

Proficiency & Power: Fine Tuning Your Efficiency with Natalie Kramer Anderson

Learn how to become more efficient in your paddling by fine tuning your posture, paddle strokes and engagement. This clinic is held on the Coloma to Greenwood section of the South Fork American. This clinic is suitable for kayakers paddling Class II or higher.

Line Explorers: New Moves on Your Home Run with Carson Lindsey

Learn new moves on your home run - the Chile Bar section of the South Fork American River. You'll have the opportunity to learn cool, new moves, catch different and challenging eddies and freshen up your style on the SFA. This clinic is suitable for kayakers paddling Class III or higher with a reliable combat roll.

Playful Paddling: Intro to Surfing, Stern Squirts and More with Johnny Chase

Have even more fun on the river! Learn how to surf with style and try out moves like the stern squirt and more. Playing on the river is a great way to improve your paddling, your roll and confidence. This clinic is held on the Coloma to Greenwood section of the South Fork American and is suitable for kayakers that are paddling Class II or higher.
